The one guy she can’t have is the one she can’t forget.

Liam Quinn is one of the biggest movie stars in the world…and the only man Elissa Holt has ever truly loved.

After being out of her life for six years, he and his gorgeous fiancé are set to star in the new Broadway show Elissa is stage managing. The only trouble is, when late night rehearsals bring Elissa and Liam together, the line between what is and what could have been gets blurred. Now one moment of weakness is about to create a scandal that will echo around the world.

Elissa knows that falling for Liam again would be a tragedy in the making, but as any good romantic knows, love doesn’t always follow the script.

“With the perfect balance of humor, steam, angst and impossible to put down, Leisa Rayven is a gifted storyteller, and Wicked Heart is truly exceptional.” –NATASHA IS A BOOK JUNKIE

Review:

Heart-stopping, clever, intense, and riveting! ❤

Leisa Ravyen does it AGAIN, writing an exceptionally brilliant romance that will leave you eager for more!

Now,  if you know me, you know what a HUGE fan of Leisa’s I am and how I’ll read anything she writes because her books are just mind blowing and 🙌 *hallelujah chorus*.  As soon as you read the first page, you’re hooked till the very end! You may laugh and cry at times because she’s just that good at making you truly believe you know the characters. You become so engrossed in her books because of the fascinating storytelling; and with Wicked Heart, she hits it out of the park yet again.

We met Elissa in the previous installments of the “Starcrossed Series,” beginning with Bad Romeo. Ethan Holt’s little sister has a wicked (see what I did there 😉 ) sense of humor, she’s gorgeous–must run in the fam, and smart as hell! She runs the show. No, I mean literally, she’s a stage manager and is AH-mazing at her job. People love working with her because she’s simply the best.

So, why is it that every guy she dates leaves her for another girl? Well, they all have one thing in common…

..they’re actors. And there lies Elissa’s reasoning for not dating another performer! She’s been dumped too many times before to fall in that trap again.

Until an adorable, arrogant boy named Liam Quinn comes in with his confident charm, killer good looks, and bed room eyes that make Elissa want to jump his bones. The magnetic attraction is mutual, too! They sync immediately, and (as Liam likes to mention) it’s simply fate for them to have met. *fans self*

But, alas, like every unforgettable love story there is a twist and I’m sure what you can all guess what it is! 😉

As soon as we read what really happened with Liam and Elissa, and find out more about their magical encounter of how they met in Times Square, we become sure of one thing.
They belong together.  ❤ ❤ ❤

How will they find their way back to one another if the now hot megastar, Liam Quinn, is engaged to a drop-dead gorgeous actress!? <– and there’s the twist!! 😫

Nothing. Just finding it funny that after all of these years, one glimpse of Liam Quinn can still turn you as red as my credit card balance. – Josh

HA! I love Elissa’s best friend and roomie, Josh. He is the perfect, loyal companion as she deals with having to work with–who we can undoubtedly call–her one true love after so many years.

With Liam and Liss (as he calls her *sigh*) it’s like instant fireworks that could light up the sky. Even from their first encounter six years ago till today, their chemistry is more evident than ever. The pull they have for one another is irresistible and gripping; completely off the charts!

Throughout the whole book, I found myself squealing like a schoolgirl and then crying like a baby the next minute. I just love how Leisa can write scenes and dialogue that can make you feel a rush of emotions all at once. Liam and Liss’s story is a sexy, beautiful tale of two people finding their way back to one another. And, as Phoebe called it…

About the Author:

Leisa RayvenWriting has always been a passion for Leisa, and even though she originally intended to be an actress, it wasn’t long into her time at drama school that she began writing plays.

Those plays were bad. Very bad. Well, her friends thought they were good, but that’s because they were always cast in them and any opportunity to be on stage was met with an obnoxious amount of enthusiasm.

Since then, she’s honed her craft, and several of her plays have been produced and toured throughout Australia.

These days, playwriting has given way to fiction writing, and Leisa’s debut novel, BAD ROMEO, will be available in a worldwide release through Macmillan Publishing in December 2014.

Leisa lives in Australia with her husband, two little boys, three cats, and a kangaroo named Howard.

(Howard may or may not be her imaginary marsupial friend. Everyone should have one.)
