Book description:

Here’s the same old “girl posing as a boy” story but with a rock-n-roll twist.

Remy Curran dreams of one day being in a band, except the group she wants to join refuses to hire a girl drummer. So, she auditions as a guy…and makes the cut.

Becoming “Sticks,” a member of Non-Castrato, isn’t quite what she dreamed it would be, though. She spends most of her time keeping up the subterfuge and learning how to walk, talk, act, and drink like a man.

But what’s even harder to deal with is acting oblivious when the band’s heartthrob lead singer, Asher Hart, treats her like one of the guys and not a woman. She never imagined he’d be so much more than a pretty face with a nice voice. But he’s better than perfect. He’s perfect for her.

When love and lies combine, Remy must keep up the act or lose everything. But who knew lying to reach one dream could prevent you from attaining an even bigger dream?

Linda Kage is a mastermind that writes hit after hit AFTER HIT! The Girl’s Got Secrets shot straight up to become of my favorite reads of 2015!

This book is funny, romantic, sultry, and thrilling! 🙂

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve read this book because I’ve lost count. It’s that good.

All Remy wants to do is play music; and when one of her beloved bands puts word out that they’re looking for a new drummer, she rushes for the chance to audition. She can play like any of the guys and knows she’s exactly what they’re in search of. However, things go wrong when the groups declines the shot of her trying out just because she’s a girl.

Upset over the whole situation and wanting to prove herself to the band, she creates a plan to audition AGAIN…

…but this time as a boy.

With the help of her best friend, she disguises herself as a guy and nails the audition! YAAAS! Her plan was only to humiliate the guys and rip her mask off once she showed that she’s just as great (if not, better) than the rest. But, things don’t go to plan and she continues with the charade and even develops a deep crush on the lead singer.  ❤

Asher knows “Sticks” is different than other dudes. He’s just a chill guy who’s easy to talk to–and quickly becoming a close friend. He’s also the guy he confides in about the girl he’s been searching for that’s captured his heart.

Sticks/Remy becomes a true friend to Asher, and when she finds out SHE’S the mystery girl he’s held a torch for (for sooo long), she knows the time is coming for her to reveal herself. But, how is the guy she’s fallen for going to take all the secrets she’s been keeping from him? :/

YIKES!! All the twists in this book made for an exciting and entertaining read!

As with any favorite, I wished so bad for Remy and Asher’s story to keep going. Besides the plot being incredibly amusing and the characters hilarious, there was so much heart in this book. I loved every page!

You must go out and get this book! This is one series I absolutely adore and would read again and again! Go out and grab your copies and fall in love!

Go on! Catch up with the Forbidden Men Series! 😀
