Book description:

Beckett Taylor’s quest to be a better man has brought Eve Hartt back into his life, but sometimes it feels like they’re bound together with barbed wire. Though he longs to love her without causing pain, the wreckage of their past continues to crash down around them.

Yet with the help of this brothers—and for his brothers—Beckett won’t stop trying. He’s determined to make them all a family, to make a life they want to live, and to make Poughkeepsie a place that’s safe to live it.

He can feel their futures balanced precariously on his shoulders: Blake and Livia and their children, Cole and Kyle and the new baby they’ve just brought home, and Eve…always Eve. He wants their dreams to be real. But murderers don’t just get Happily Ever After handed to them. They have to wrench it away from Satan himself.

Good thing Beckett is prepared to do just that. After all, saving Poughkeepsie is the only way his story ends.

Prepare your heart and your head for a wild ride in this final installment of the Poughkeepsie Brotherhood series. Debra Anastasia does not disappoint as she weaves the last chapter of a story that blends true love, turbulent emotions, and life’s harsh realities into an uplifting tale that calls to the good in each of us.

Perfect wrap up to an amazing and heartwarming series! ❤ ❤ ❤

I’m going to miss these characters! They’ve each evolved so much from the first book, Poughkeepsie. We’ve been with them through it all, and this book was the best send off to our beloved family.

Without telling you how it ended (so wonderfully I might add), I will mention that there are many happy endings! There are some sad and surprising twists in the book, but I was completely satisfied with how it all turned out. It actually made me quite thrilled for how bright their futures will be!

The last time we saw our favorite brothers, trouble was on the horizon. In this last installment, SHIT GOES DOWN as always, and OMG! It was crazy! 😮 I mean, it was insane. Then, you’re cheering on the good guys to win! AHH! This book was exciting, mind-blowing, and sweet!

We get our final views into each of their lives, and get a glimpse into their growing families. Beckett, as in the previous book, continues to try his hardest to be the man he wishes he could be. He knows he’s not like his brothers, but just wants to be someone they can be proud of, and not bring them pain or danger. He (like his brothers) have matured so much, it was so heartwarming and endearing to read.

Love this series! I’ll always remember: falling in love with Blake for being the kind, noble guy every girl wants to find, wanting to kiss Cole for being the tender and divine gentleman, and wanting to koala hug Beckett for his devotion and bad ass charm. 😉

I didn’t think I could be stunned any more, but as I kept reading Saving Poughkeepsie it was inevitable. Debra writes such an incredible story, it’s hard to say goodbye. 😥  I’ve said it before, and it must be said again: Debra writes such detailed stories that you feel like you’re part of the town of Poughkeepsie, and friends with these people. The plot of this series has been so wonderfully described and expressed, it was a blast to read! Absolutely wonderful!

Debra Anastasia TNTAbout Debra Anastasia:

Debra Anastasia is busy, just like every other mom. There’s dinner, the dogs, the two kids, the two kids, and her ongoing battle with…ahem… digestive issues, which combined with her adolescent boy sense of humor makes for colorful and sometimes cringe-worthy social media updates. Her first love and crowning achievement is her thriving career as the weirdest mom on the block.

Her writing started a decent handful of years ago when–along with the animals and humans in her house–the voices of characters started whispering stories in Debra’s ear. Insomnia was the gateway to plots that wouldn’t give up, wouldn’t let go. Now they stalk her everywhere. Halfway through making lunches, a twist takes hold and–fingers full of peanut butter–she finds somewhere, anywhere to write it down.

She’s eternally grateful to Omnific Publishing, which has now published four of her books: two in the Seraphim Series and two in the Poughkeepsie Brotherhood Series, as well as her novella, Late Night with Andres. That one is special because 100% of the proceeds go to breast cancer research. (So go get it right now, please!) She also very much appreciates her open-minded readers, who embrace everything she has to offer, with a focus on anti-heroes and bathroom humor.

Debra lives in Maryland with her family. You can find her at DebraAnastasia.com and on Twitter @Debra_Anastasia. But be prepared.
