Book description:

Life has been complicated for Sydney Ross. Desperate for a new start, she leaves home but, during her travels, witnesses something that will forever alter the path of her life. On the run for the last six years, Sydney finds herself living the life of a nomad until she one day stumbles into a small town and hopes she’s finally found a place to put down roots. With a good job in a local diner and, for the first time ever, friends who feel like family, things start looking up for Sydney. The biggest shock of all is catching the eye of the town’s most eligible bachelor, the sexy sheriff, Wade Jenkins.

Sparks fly between them, and it’s not long before Sydney believes Elton, Missouri could be the home she’s always wished for. But Sydney’s past and her secrets have a way of catching up with her. When a brutal murder shakes the small town, Sydney is terrified that the countdown has begun on her time in Elton.

Have the shadows from her past found her again? The people who mean the most want her to stay, but that would put everyone, including her daughter, at risk. Can Sydney put her faith in Wade or will she keep running from a danger that even she doesn’t fully understand?

Review:
Four words. VICTORIA MICHAELS IS BACK!

Ahhh!! I was BEYOND THRILLED when I found out she was going to write another book! ESPECIALLY because it was going to be a brand new genre for her! And let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. I mean, really! VM writes stories that keep you hooked from the very start! With her third book, it’s official: she can do no wrong. If you aren’t familiar with her work, GET ON IT! You’ll fall in love! 🙂

Concealed is a very action packed but mysterious story that will leave you at the edge of your seat! These characters pulled at my heart strings and the storyline took me for a loop! Lots of thrills, lots of secrets,…and plot twists! OH BOY! It plays out like a great film! I LOVED IT, and read it all in one sitting!

Sydney is a young mom who has a BIG secret that she’s been running away from for years. Just as she’s finally found a town she and her daughter can call home, something from her past has found her again and begins to haunt her. Her hopes of finding romance with super sexy sheriff Wade is about to go out the window if she can’t face the past. If Sydney tells him her whole story, will he run away or stand by her? Will she have to start all over, or can she survive the heartbreak that might come with revealing the truth?

SMH. Again, this story will take you on a rollercoaster ride! You won’t see what’s coming next, and you’ll be trying to solve all the puzzles. 😉 My favorite part about this story (and technically, all of her books) is how the characters are so well developed. Each one is written for a reason, and are essential in the storytelling. Even the minor characters will make you smile and you’ll want to read more about them. All of their personalities are relatable in someway and you’ll immediately be able to picture them in your head as you’re reading.

RUN and go get Concealed now and enjoy the ride it will take you on! *bows down to greatness* 😉
