Book description:

Eight years have passed since Colin and Caroline “Charlie” ended their college romance. A chance meeting reunited them confirming that time had not diminished their love for each other. Now, they have to turn their passionate reunion into a legitimate and sustainable relationship. Charlie’s medical practice is in Houston. Colin is the starting quarterback for Dallas. Distance is not the only obstacle to their happiness. There’s Colin’s (maybe?) ex-girlfriend, entertainment reporter Sasha Stone who’s granted the first ever tell-all interview about Colin’s personal life. There’s Charlie’s father who is part owner of their medical practice and blames Colin for Charlie’s battle with an eating disorder. What about the demands of the media and Colin’s rabid fans? “From Now Until Infinity” continues the journey of Colin and Charlie that began, ended, and began again in “Falling Into Infinity.”

I have to say for someone who isn’t a fan of football, I REALLY enjoyed this story! 🙂  Not that you need to be a fan of the sport to read the book, but I think those who have had friends play, dated an athlete, etc. will understand what Caroline and Colin go through on their journey together. This was a very romantic, yet heartbreaking story. No worries though, the ending will make you smile! 😉 It’s the beginning, middle and climax that really touched my heart. I felt the heartache they felt, and I couldn’t imagine the courage it took for them to make the decisions they did. Such a well told story.

Caroline (a.k.a. Charlie) has her life planned out, but when she meets Colin, the popular football player everyone loves, she falls head over heels too. As the synopsis says, their friendship grows into a powerful love that neither saw coming. They’re both young, but they both have so much ahead of them that it’s hard to make a decision that won’t trouble the other. What they have is true love; however, the toughest part is trying to figure out if it’s meant to be.

Colin is every woman’s dream. Seriously. He’s perfect, sensitive, loving, and only has eyes for his girl. He doesn’t want to lose Charlie for any reason, and is fully supportive of her future life as a doctor. Charlie loves him but something is missing. She hasn’t had the best example of lasting couples in her life, but she knows that with Colin things can be close to perfect. They both struggle and that’s what made this story so real to me. It’s a touching account of how true love can always find its way. Great job Layne! Very excited to read Infinity #2! 🙂

About Layne Harper:

Layne Harper is a mom, wife, book junkie, and sports fanatic. However, when the kids and husband are safely ensconced at school and work, she slips into her office with her three rescue dogs and writes until it’s time to drive carpool. Her children have no idea about her secret life (and they hopefully never will), and the dogs won’t tell. She’s always writing in her mind though and making notes on whatever is close by; envelopes, napkins, a kid’s homework…
